He has travelled and worked as a chef and executive chef in over 20 countries and in over 35 five star hotels across the world, in the course of which he gained invaluable experience of the hospitality segment and priceless insights into this highly competitive industry. After two years of meticulous planning and thoughtful execution, his dream came true. Barakat Quality Plus was opened for business in 2001, as an extended kitchen to the food industry in the UAE. The new factory was unique in the Middle East. In 2012 Barakat opened another factory dedicated to fresh cut vegetables, gelato ice creams and freshly made soups for retail.
